Sub-standard. More 3 star than 5.
Firstly, the booking we initially made was Damac Royale Tower, however this tower was apparently shut down and only available as a residence and not aparthotel. We were changed to Damac Maison Distincton. Our stay for 4 nights was decent, we had many issues though. 1. When we arrived to check in, we knew we were early so we offloaded luggage and checked in knowing our room wont ve ready we advised the valet not to park our car as we would be leaving in a few minutes. But, he insisted on parking the car. As soon as he got back from parking the car we had requested our car to be brought back. Waited 20 mins for the car to come back. 2. I prefer to park my car myself at most places anyways, so further to the above i parked the car myself. When entering the parking after returning, we were told we need tl have a room number. We did not as our room was not ready. 3. After getting a room number and checking in the additional 2 guests (we booked a 3 bedroom unit) the security counted the people in the car and said the booking is only for 2 adults. 4. No towels in the bathrooms after cleaning on 3 days. 5. Bins not cleaned daily. 6. Kitchen dishes not packed after cleaning. 7. Cleaning very quick and not clean enough. The managers on duty were very good to throw in late check out or a platter of fruit whenever we complained, however it did not convince us that the issues were fixed.

اقامتي في رويال داماك
اقامه مريحه وخدمه ممتازه مع بعض التاخير احيانا واحيانا بسرعه ، اطلاله غير واضحه بسبب اتساخ الزجاج من كل الاطراف من الخارج طبعا ، بعض الشقق نظيفه وبعضها متسخه ، المدخل ضيق واذا ماركزت بالقياده يمكن تدعم ، الانترنت فااااشل ، اللوبي كبير وشرح وجميع الافراد متعاونين واخص بالشكر المدير المناوب الاخ بيتر سمير ، يوجد مواقف بالسرداب للسياره بارد ونظيف ، عموما داماك تعتبر ناجحه بادارة الفنادق وخصوصا المكان فئه فخمه رويال ، السرير يعتبر صلب قليلاً ، الجوله ( الطباخ ) ماتقدر تعلي عينين على الاخر حدك وحده معلي والثانيه نص قوه ، المكان قريب من المركز المالي ودبي مول جدا وقريب من معارض العوير وسوق التنين ايضاً

hotel should not be open as it is not finished and doesn’t have half the facilities that are listed for it. I would never stay at a Damac Hotel again after my experience here. A Staff member was very unhelpful and Rude to us. No pool available as not open until 1st March. Fire Alarm disruptions a couple of times 12am and 6am diff days no apologies regarding this and also no one checked on us. They didn’t seem to care. Due to issues spoke to Expedia and requested to leave hotel and get a refund but this was declined by Damac. When pool opened we were told its not safe yet by pool staff. Looking at the pool area it was clearly not finished either. reception on the same day they advised its fine to use. Partner stood on a broken glass in the pool luckily he didn’t cut his foot open. No one rushed to find the other pieces of the glass which were also in the pool which was disgraceful. no pool bar no Cinema room, No Sauna & Spa was constantly closed. when leaving we had to fill out a feedback form which half way through we were stopped by staff member to then be given a discount for the next time we stayed only if we give a 5 Star review on expedia. I do not do well to bribery and will not spend another penny with Damac Hotels and Resorts ever again. This put me off even more as all they seem to have cared about is how we review the property and not our experience. Yet we were there for 2 weeks with issues no one cared or helped us. No more room to finish the review

Great apartment but lots of teething problems
We booked in for 3 nights and extended our stay for a further night, 4 in total. Having been to Dubai a number of times previously, we knew which part of Dubai Business Bay is located. Unfortunately due to this building being only 2 months old and 2 of the 4 towers only in operation we weren’t aware of the building site surrounding it with no immediate amenities to hand. Fortunately we had a hire car and were able to drive out to where we might, for example require a supermarket. There is a useful app which we downloaded for navigation but this often takes you around in circles and what should have taken no more than half an hour from Dubai marina took us nearly an hour and a half to find! First impressions of the hotel were impressive with a fantastic reception lobby and car parking valet service. Oddly enough we weren’t offered any refreshment despite seeing others offered a beverage! The apartment we had was on a high floor, 45th...beautifully spacious apartment with views of...another building being constructed...not so good! Noise was an issue as even at breakfast, drilling and banging could be heard. Our stay was marred somewhat by the following: Internet TV failed on a number of occasions with the inconvenience of someone coming in to sort out the issues. Internet reception very poor making Skype calls almost impossible at times with calls abroad cutting out midway in conversations. Failure on one occasion to clean the apartment. Kids area/Pool not in operation

As of today, the property sits in an area under heavy construction. Do not let that deter you. This is a world class apartment style hotel, and fits in perfectly in the 5 star city Dubai. Reception desk was very polite, and helped my group with the best ways to navigate the city and pay for things. The rooms were large, clean, and they gave us a mini-tour if the room to show the amenities. Looking forward to seeing this place next year, when I visit again.

everything was excellent from the room to the staff. the staff was very professional and polite and accommdating to our request. The only problem is the shower bath floor which gets flooded when you take a shower and the floor gets too slippery. But i heard from the receptionist when i mentioned it that it’s been the complaint of the clients and they’re fixing it - one tower at a time. when i plan to come back to dubai- which we plan to - I’ll surely come back to Damac👌👌👍👍👏👏
