Drouin Golf Club

Have stayed at this hotel on many occasions and it’s always hit and miss. I was recepted in by a female with an accent that acknowledged no understanding of my VIP status and when I questioned it rudely stated that I had purchased a seperate room and that check out was at 10am. Pretty sure I have had this same kind of service from the same person on previous stays. However never an issue when someone else serves me. Lucky for her a male that was working with her quickly jumped in and was amazing in regards to acknowledging my status, upgrading my room and also stating that the check out time was 12. However cleaning staff knocked on my door continuously at 10:20 asking what time I was checking out so better comms are needed there.

A great place for the family to stay. Nice amenities such as pool and in-room laundry and kitchen.

Stayed here for the Australian Open. Great location, only a short walk to Melbourne Park. Some of the features of the room felt a little dated - the TV could use an update. Shower/bath combination was a little difficult to get in and out of which could be an issue for people with mobility issues. Overall a pleasant and convenient stay. :)
