"We had a lovely time at this cottage. It was very clean, all the kitchen things you need are provided, and it's right on the lake. The decks and dock were great spots to spend a weekend, and the bbq came in handy. It's close to a town too if you forget anything. Some downsides to note: There was a large tv, but unfortunately the wifi didn't really work, so keep that in mind if that's an important part of your stay. "My family and I loved our time at Ron's cottage! There was so much for all of us to do; we had a great time kayaking, playing badminton and having s'mores by the fire at night. We also really enjoyed fishing in the canoe as well as playing pool and air hockey in the games room! Inside the house is very nice and had the cottage vibe we were looking for and the newly renovated dock was perfect for the surprise I had planned, which was a proposal to my now fiancé! "We enjoyed our stay in Cabin 1. It is the first cabin located right next to the beach and fire pit. There is a private dock which was great for fishing and the water was clean. Ron the property manager was helpful whenever we had questions and he was up early in the morning to clean the water of weeds and rake the beach. We we first arrived, the cleaner was just finishing up as they had a group leave earlier that morning. Overall the place was very clean, though the towels were not the best...

"This was the most affordable option in Peterborough on a weekend on Expedia, and its exactly what you'd expect to pay for. Some noise upstairs on the 3rd floor, but tbh I don't care. Some reviews mention no fridge, but I have a mini fridge in my room. A nice place to rest my head for 1 night for a work trip. 10/10 happy about my experience, because I'm not a brat who expects a perfect score from the most affordable option. Thanks Motel 6 :) "
