"We had a lovely stay for one night in Mulroy Woods .we had a beautiful room which was very comfortable, clean and well decorated .The en-suite was lovely ,modern and had a fabulous shower.we had a delicious meal with nice bottle of wine for dinner .service was very good .we had a delicious breakfast next morning with fresh tea/coffee,toast,cereal,fruit juices ,yogurt ,fruit ,croissants as well as fully cooked choices ,all in all a great stay and would return again "

"Beautiful location with direct beach access. Could do with some TLC around the property along with more kitchen utensils, mugs, pans etc. Could only find a couple of towels for 8 people, fortunately we had taken a few with us."

"It's been a number of year's since I last needed to stay in the area. As I had stayed here the previous time and was satisfied then, I had no hesitation in booking it again and would do so in the future if needed. It is clean, comfortable and just what I need and expect for a business trip stay. Good food in the bar and easy parking. Good area for working at in my room (with a study / comfortable work chair. Couldn't use WhatsApp on the hotel WiFi but otherwise fine"

"Water very slow took 45 minutes to run a bath water left in kettle water noise coming from the toilet all night menu just ok who wants coconut in there soup burgers far to big "

"Staff were excellent. All staff were eager to please and were professional throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the food slightly let us down. My wife's main course kn our first evening was overly salted so she had to leave it. I tried it and also found it salty. First day breakfast was good but 2nd day breakfast was warm but not hot. Other than these minor points, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend. "

"We had the perfect stay in the Madra Rua and everything was perfect. The hosts were amazing and could not do enough for us. The breakfast was like no other and we absolutely recommend this B&B 5* all round. Photo is the view from the breakfast room. "
