"Definitely not worth all of the hype. Poor service whenever we went to the bars or restaurant (staff never available) Breakfast hours are way too short to serve all the people they have staying. We were told one of the pools was strictly for adults yet children and families allowed in. I would not visit this place again."

"Cabañas el Jardín is an absolute gem! The place was clean and comfortable. The owner, Claudia, is an absolute sweetheart. Very attentive and understanding. The communication was outstanding!! My dad felt very safe and comfortable there. I highly recommend Cabanas el Jardin if you are going to Valdivia. My dad fell at home and the daily breakfast was delicious !! "

"It's run by a crook He's not below scamming clients. I made the reservation in the morning, when I arrived in the afternoon, it showed that it was for the following month. Had to book somewhere else. The next day I tried to cancel the reservation, 24 hours after the booking, 30 days prior to the reservation. He wouldn't let me, as It was policy. Also, we were told we must pay the extra fee (in cash, in the room) even though we paid for the room online ahead of time with our US credit card."

No. English speakers on staff though when we arrived (and we unfortunately don't speak Spanish) so difficult to get information on local area attractions. "The service level at this hotel is terrible. Don’t be deceived with the beautiful surrounding forests and the well marketed architecture. There is almost no service. The staff is like floating clueless ghosts and everywhere in the hotel is freezing. The food is also terrible. Nawelpi is certainly not a 5 star hotel. I’d like to meet the person who gave 5 stars to this hotel. At best it’s 3 stars. The indifferent attitude of the staff is unforgivable. In the room, almost nothing works. "
