"Sunrise Cottage on Lake Galway was what we hoped for, a very comfortable, stress free, fun place to stay while we visited Saratoga Springs. It was close to the city but still very much in the country. The neighbors surrounding us on Lake Galway were pleasant and friendly, as were the local restauranteurs and merchants. Sunrise cottage is definitely on the return to list"

"The property was absolutely perfect for a quiet getaway. The view was gorgeous, able to make a nice bonfire and look at the stars, and my dog absolutely loved swimming and then running into the grass for zoomies. Trailer is small but perfect for lounging in when not outside."

"Very cool cabin, it has all the amenities but still feels cozy & rustic. Host was super. Beautiful area with picturesque mountain lakes, separated from the crowds of Lake George without feeling inconvenient. Some folks (especially ones like us with a younger kid) may want to consider that although the cabin is essentially “on the water” there is no way to walk alongside it on this property. The only access is a long staircase out of the forest leading to a small dock. In no way is this a criticism of the owners — they did an amazing job making the water accessible for canoes/kayaks/boats. "

"We had such a great week at Ava's Lakeside Cottage. The lake was so calm and clean, perfect for swimming, fishing and kayaking. My daughter enjoyed catching multiple salamanders daily also. The house was very cozy and very well kept. We definitely be returning in the future."
