"This place was a gem. We only booked for one night of our trip but I wish we'd stayed longer. The food was delicious and sitting out on the deck watching the sunset was relaxing after a full day of travel. I loved the outdoor showers, and the indoors were also beautifully maintained and cared for. On our next adventure out here, this is where we're staying. "

Great host, amazing view, comfortable bed, well set-up kitchen, close to many of the out-of-the-way beaches between Kona and Volcano. And awesome lanai kitties that love skritches. Will definitely be back when we're in the South again."

"Absolutely loved staying here and Jacob and Morena are top notch hosts! We love to get out and about and they were able to suggest some really awesome places to visit. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Such a great vibe and we loved the sound of the frogs at night. If we're ever on the Big Island again we will definitely stay here. ☺️"

"Our host as very accommodating and responded to anything we needed. The daylight lower apartment is nicely set up. We could see a little view of trees and the water from the small deck with a surrounding flowering garden.We were able to make meals on the hot plate and small refrigerator provided. A microwave and coffee pot is available too. The bathroom is beautiful and the bed comfortable. It was in a neighborhood, so stores are 20 to 30 minutes away. But we appreciated the quiet and snorkling...

"A very handy & convenient place to stay. Beds were fine & shower pressure was fantastic. A little warm in the evenings but cooled off nicely for sleeping. Host was available for any questions & very kind."

"Joe’s place was perfect for our short stay. The front has an amazing view of the ocean and the place serves delicious coffee. The place was clean and comfortable. The only thing I would change about our stay is the check in directions/instructions. Make sure to contact Joe beforehand about arrival because it could be confusing especially if you arrive late at night like we did."

"This location is not in the heart of anything and everything is about an hour away. It was quiet and easy to access. We loved our stay, and we are adventurers, so it gave us great access to the whole island. Plus, the sunsets were beautiful and unobstructed. "

"It was a nice condo. Relaxing and spacious for family of 6. Everything was functional. The steep road to the condo was a surprise, but manageable. Short walk to pebble beach, with perfect sunset and a small trail along the shore. Only we didn't expect that much mosquitos in Feb. "
