"Much of the room was in a state of disrepair: cracked tiles, ripped curtains, elevator buttons that didn't light up, other guests trash by bed and heard electrical static throughout the night. Milk in cartons for breakfast was curdled. Seats in kitchen area were horribly stained. But, bed was comfortable, we had hot water, and it was adequate for the little bit of time we spent there. "

"What a truly beautiful place for a quick getaway. The owner went out of his way to ensure that we felt at home and welcomed. In addition to the ambiance of setting, the owner prepared a delicious breakfast of blueberry pancakes, bacon and fruit. We couldn’t ask for a better stay and we will make sure that we stay again during our next trip to Chicago ❤️"

"Not good shower head broke. Bath tub won’t plug closed so I had to use a new rag as a plug. Toilet barely flushed. Tv wouldn’t switch off pc mode and air conditioning won’t even do fan mode. Kept beeping clean filter and not staying on "

"If you’re looking for a peaceful place to rest and recharge, look no further! We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Audrey’s Abode! The cabin had everything we needed. The property is quiet and relaxing. We woke up Sunday morning to a beautiful buck right outside the kitchen window. If I could live there, I totally would to get away from the hustle and bustle of our everyday! The town of Jacksonville has everything you want. We did a college tour with our son while we were here and found it...
