"The Golden Rock is a beautiful, low intensity hotel complex, with exceptional gardens. It offers something quite different than other hotels in Nevis. The staff were exceptionally helpful and caring. They also helped to make arrival easy by organizing a seamless transfer from the airport to the water taxi and then to the hotel. Highly recommend"

"We stayed at this property for three weeks. Brett Williams was our host and incredibly helpful arranging transport to and from Nevis. Also a rental car ( necessary) when we got there. The cottage has a magnificent view of the Carribbean in the distance and is high enough up to take advantage of the constant breezes. We are both in our 70's and did just fine. The cottage covers the basic necessities. Comfy bed, linens, shower and adequate kitchen. Most all time is spent outdoors enjoying Nevis....

"We loved Marva’a house. If we are back in Nevis, will definitely stay there again. The house is spacious and very comfortable. One of three bedrooms does not have an AC unit, but has two fans including a ceiling fan. The property is big and very well maintained. There are several fruit trees including at least two types of mangoes. Since we were visiting at the end of May, we got to taste the mangoes and had them for breakfast every morning. Marva helped us to get a rental car, which is a must...

"Breathtaking views of sunsets and bursts of tropical rain showers wirh rainbows from screened-in porch. Easy keyless check in and good communication with Samuel before and during stay. "

"Apartment is beautiful, with a nice comfortable furniture, very clean, with equipped kitchen, beach towels. Property manager is on top of things and checking out on the guests. It's a beautiful complex with a lazy pool and a gym, 2minutea walk to the beach. Beach is gorgeous with umbrellas and lounge chairs. Water is so warm, perfect for swimming. Restaurant is right on the beach for a tasty lunch. We will highly recommend this property which is good for a couple or family."

"I have to say that whilst we enjoyed our stay I did find the property listing somewhat misleading with regard to the distance the property is in relation to the town and beaches etc. We are both fairly active people but could not have walked into town, I am sure it would have taken us about half an hour especially in the heat and I certainly would not have wanted to walk along the road to town at night. Luckily a local person gave us information about using the local buses and we were able to...

"What can i say except when can we return!! We were a party of three friends and styed for 5 days. The cottage did not disappoint. It was spotless, a good size, beautifully decorated in a style that suited the environment but with every mod con you need. The view was spectacular, especially watching the sun rise from the balcony whilst i did my morning yoga And the gardens were a sight and "scent" to behold. That evey little detail has been considered and no expenses spared for guests'...

"My wife and I stayed here for a week, and really enjoyed it. The house is beautiful and well kept. The view is fantastic. The housekeeper was super nice, and an absolutely amazing cook. The pool was nice and clean. The area is nice and quiet. Very close to a market, and not far from Charlestown. And the host was very helpful and responsive. Awesome experience overall, and a great place to stay."

"Perfect accommodations! We’ve found other islands and areas to be not be very walkable, but this area definitely is. Groceries and tons of dining options close. The public beach is perfect and the resort has chairs and umbrellas for guest use. For general reference: toiletries aren’t provided, so don’t forget to pack your own "

"I cannot imagine a more serene, authentic, inviting and hospitable hotel and staff that mirrored the same. Everyone from the owner, to the front desk, the restaurant staff, housekeeping and gardening - were remarkably wonderful. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful with several appealing options! The bar is a fantastic throw back in time, well stocked and wonderful to share a drink in! The grounds are impeccable, manicured yet very homey. The rooms and buildings are rustic and so welcoming. There is so much history and the hotel has been preserved beautifully. It’s clear that the owner and staff take great pride and care deeply about their place and their guest’s experience. We will definitely return! "
