"Everything was just as advertised. Lovely little place to get away. Very quiet, no noise or light pollution. Lots of window, that made for a very nice breeze all night, and so many stars you could see from bed. Overall if you are looking for a rustic getaway, you would be hard pressed to find a better place. "

"It was our engagement weekend and this cabin was perfect for the weekend getaway! It is tucked up on the mountain and is in good driving distance to Seneca and Dolly Sods. The property is nice and secluded. The fire pit/grill area was lovely to have dinner at on a brisk night. Spacious and cozy cabin! Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice get away spot! "

"Our night was good, the host was great, the beds were comfy, and the shower was awesome. The only drawback is that you have to travel north away from the activities we had. If we'd had more nights or if there was snow on the ground, I'd worry about the driving. This was literally one of only 2 listings that allowed dogs. Our dog played well with the host's dog!"

"Nice little getaway, very clean and cozy, Friendly neighbors, nice view Of the river wish there was better access to river, steps to the river is more like steps to overlook the river. The hot tub was perfect, I would say the biggest complaint would be traffic driving past way too fast on that tiny little road That is not the host fault we witnessed the maintenance man almost get hit. Something needs to be done about that before somebody gets hurt, we definitely would like to stay again The area...

"We stayed for the weekend in cabin 1, it's a beautiful cozy cabin where it is possible to cook and to relax thanks to the sauna inside the cabin. It's important to know that there is nothing in the neighborhood, so it is a place to relax (like we wanted) or to sleep while travelling somewhere else. The fireplace listed is a gas one (not working at the moment), the TV didn't have any signal (I don't think anybody cares anymore, in 2024). "Absolutely perfect!! The identical king bedrooms w/your own bathroom were so awesome. Beautiful and super comfy! The shower was amazing, and the sauna and hot tub topped off the stay! I took my mom and my Granny and all the little extras were such a hit. I can’t wait to bring my husband for another long weekend. "

"Property renovated from old school house. Space is ideal for 2-4 adults or 2 adults and 4 teens and under. 2 sets of bunk beds are somewhat small for adults. Couch was comfy. nice fire pit to sit around. It was pet friendly with an additional charge. Window AC to keep place cool. The only negative I can think of is the floor was very creaky."

"The place is an older "inn style" place. Don't expect extravagant, but it is kept nice and the hosts were very responsive to any messages I sent. The big perk for us was the NO UPCHARGE on pets. The view of the river is awesome and it is off a "main" road. We felt comfortable and safe walking our dogs down the road that this place is located on. It is also really close to the main road and that is really convenient for getting to and from Elkins, Stuarts park, etc. The toilet was having an issue...

"This is a private cabin that gives you your own section of Shavers Fork of the Cheat River. Very clean and well set up upon arrival. Nice deck out back facing the stream. Hot tub was at a good temperature for us. We would come back. Good central location to explore Monongahela Park. "

"Our stay was GREAT! This was our 35th wedding anniversary weekend and we had a blast. The cabin was beautiful, very cozy and clean, and the Honey was very tasty. Loved watching the deer from the kitchen window too. We will be back and thank you for a wonderful weekend. ❤️"
