"For those who want a smaller hotel without a bunch of partying, this is a nice place to stay. THE GOOD: Staff were great. I mean REALLY nice and always made sure we were comfortable ad happy. We had the included breakfast every day and every time it was very good. It’s a smaller hotel, so not a lot of people (if that’s what you’re trying to stay away from). The location made it a short walk to the Malecon, the Markets, Old Town and the Romantic zone. Very easy to get a Taxi or Uber. The air conditioner worked very well and was NOT noisy. THE BAD: It is an older building, so you CAN hear sounds from the street in some rooms, but we actually enjoyed that (vs. thumping disco music around the pool at many resorts.) It didn’t stop us from having a decent sleep. THE UGLY: I try and include All aspects in my reviews, including anything that really bothered us. In this case, there was nothing that stood out. Just note, this is an older building - however the plumbing etc. is up to date. "

"My partner and I just spent 6 days at this resort. It was beautiful!!! We walked in to the lobby, and gasped at the immediate ocean view. The staff were extremely friendly, and the buffet server we had (we had the same one everyday.. Alfredo) remembered our drink orders and the table we loved to sit at. There was amazing entertainment most nights, a beautiful swim up bar, and great Pina Coladas. Our only complaint was, the Italian restaurant gave my partner food poisoning, and room service never answered the phone. We had to go down to the lobby to order for after hours. The hotel dr came to our room promptly after the food poisoning, and we very helpful with her sickness. We will definitely be back, and with our kids next time. It looked like they had a lot of activities for kids. "

"I had another enjoyable stay at this property. It's very convenient for the activities and food options I'm looking for. Hotel is clean and comfortable (but I wish the pillows were firmer!) Restaurant on premises is good as well. No issues during my time at the hotel. "
