"There was no at the reception desk. The property manager accused me of lying about my kids because there were 2 single beds joined but we were 3 people. My daughter had to sleep in the middle of the 2 beds . The pillows were uncomfortable . There was 1roll of toilet paper. I had to go buy my own. I had no internet service. The kitchen was somewhat clean but you could see their storage room that was messy Nd made kitchen aesthetically unappealing. The night table and desk shelf was dusty ."

"Great stay. We arrived to a warm greeting after a much delayed train trip. Reception gave us good advice on places to visit, eat, get groceries. I left my ipad behind and they contacted me immediately so I hadn't left the station. Great service."

"After checking reviews of this place I was a bit worried but overall we did enjoy our stay. We are family of 4 and stayed 7 nights in bungalow. Accommodation was spacious and clean however very outdated. AC only in the bedroom so kids who were sleeping in living/dining area complained of a heat. This is a sport complex which is available to the public so at the weekends quite busy. But plenty of sun beds so no issue with finding a spot. Big swimming pool, however swimming cups are necessary....

"We enjoyed the full use of the apartment with onsite parking. Once you get the hang of driving in small Sicilian towns, it becomes east to get around. Balestrate has a beautiful beachfront and many lovely restaurants. Our hostess was helpful and friendly. Mille grazie, Rosalia!"

"Amazing experience! We’ve never had such a welcoming, warm welcome. The apartment is in the heart of this charming historic town. We got lucky to be there during the 3 day celebration of the Crucifix with the whole town out celebrating. Apartment is very big and has absolutely everything. Hope to come back "

"Our group covered friends and family aged 21 - 80+. This beautiful property had everything we needed; gorgeous views, multiple eating areas, lovely pool, fruit trees, lovely bedrooms, table tennis area, BBQ and even a pizza oven. Plus Amica, the gorgeous and adorable owners dog. The photographs do not do it justice! We had a great two weeks, and wished it could have been longer The local area is great, The hosts were charm themselves and so helpful. Top quality holiday location . "

"The house was lovely and the weather (in Oct) wonderful - temperatures of 25/30 deg C all week! The sliding windows made it easy to step out and enjoy the outside space. "We stayed for 9 nights at the end of July 2024 and had a lovely time. The accommodation is great and large enough for a family of 9 (teens +). The host is brilliant and personally met us despite arriving at midnight. A car is needed to get to any amenities, but within a few minutes drive there are plenty of restaurants and the beaches are fabulous. Recommend a visit and boat trip from Cefalu."

"dirty, many cooking stuff not clean, dishwasher enable to do a complete cycle, air conditionning able to cool from 3 or 4 in the morning when cool enough outside, dogs barking all night, one night and day, swimming pool not as the picture as surounding has been redone with wood and give a strong sens of poor DIY results."

"Virginia, was a spectacular host. I completely botched the day I was flying out and had to arrive at the property at 0900 instead of 2350. Virginia adjusted smoothly. She had the taxi that was originally scheduled for 2350 moved up to meet us at 0900, she met us at the apartment, and sat with us to go over some of the best attractions and places to eat. She was magnificent. The apartment was beautiful in the heart of old town Palermo. Plenty of space, clean, and comfortable. Would love to...

"great location, everything we needed to be self sufficient"

"Our A/C stopped working 2 days into the trip and we contacted them and it was never fixed. Similarly, our sink just wouldn't drain despite letting them know. And you couldn't lock the bathroom door without getting stuck inside "

"During 8 weeks touring Italy as a family of 4 (2 children), this was our favourite accommodation by far. Very clean second story flat with more than enough room for us. The place has lots of character and was fully equipped with everything we needed for a lengthy stay. Lots of beach toys and furniture included. Minutes walk to the beach and great shops all within the historic centre. Great value. Great communication from the host as well. "
