"After checking reviews of this place I was a bit worried but overall we did enjoy our stay. We are family of 4 and stayed 7 nights in bungalow. Accommodation was spacious and clean however very outdated. AC only in the bedroom so kids who were sleeping in living/dining area complained of a heat. This is a sport complex which is available to the public so at the weekends quite busy. But plenty of sun beds so no issue with finding a spot. Big swimming pool, however swimming cups are necessary....

"We enjoyed the full use of the apartment with onsite parking. Once you get the hang of driving in small Sicilian towns, it becomes east to get around. Balestrate has a beautiful beachfront and many lovely restaurants. Our hostess was helpful and friendly. Mille grazie, Rosalia!"

"Great quiet location in central Palermo. "

"The house was lovely and the weather (in Oct) wonderful - temperatures of 25/30 deg C all week! The sliding windows made it easy to step out and enjoy the outside space. Our thanks to Marcello’s wife who baked a delicious cake for us, and for the excellent bottle of wine! We had a delightful stay and were very comfortable in this house. "

"Property located adjacent to very old olive tree orchard. Scenic mountain back drop with ocean view. Spacious upstairs flat with full amenities. Beautiful pool and garden in the yard. Private driveway. Only 2 cons, must have rental car because located in a hard to access part of Trabia, roads are difficult to navigate. And property owners speak very little English, so just plan to use google translate. Highly recommend if you are looking for the real Sicilian experience!"

"A lovely traditional apartment with a very large spacious living room with a lovely outside seating area with table and chairs. Air con worked efficiently, great to have a washing machine, bed comfortable and again another balcony view. There are a lot of stairs up to apartment although we saw that as a positive way to do some exercise each day. Guiseppe was very communicative when we had questions. The beach is about 15 minutes away along the corniche surrounded by mountains so very pretty...

"It’s a beautiful place and the view is amazing. The rooms are a bit small but that’s generally the case in Europe. The only issue we had was the shower. It has two issues: a handheld wand that I had to rig to stay up and at an angle so not to shoot out of the shower, and the shower curtain which allowed water to flood the bathroom floor no matter what you did. It was also really small making it difficult to wash up. "

"Right across the street from an incredible, art filled church (Casa Professa), and with a stately front door itself, this place has great interior architectural details, and plenty of space. The interior lighting isn’t ideal, and you should check to see if the back bathroom has had its plumbing fixed (awful smell throughout the back bedroom, and the back bathroom), but other than that, it’s in a perfect Location to walk to the train station, the outdoor street markets, and the main streets (4...

"Great location, comfortable apartment with all of the necessities. The rooftop deck is amazing. Easy access to great restaurants like La Galleria and all of the major attractions. Very responsive and accommodating host!"

"Stayed one week in Palermo and visited Cefalù, Montreale, Agrigento and made our way to Mondello beach. Also spent several days in the historic part of Palermo. In the mornings we had cafe and sweets by the marina. Everyone we met was helpful and filled with kindness and happiness to share there stories. Very easy to use train to visit these locations or buses for Mondello and we cheated and took taxi to Montreal’s. Our host was very helpful and very responsive to any questions we had Palermo...

The apartment is spacious and located right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient for exploring everything by foot. Despite being in such a central location, it was surprisingly quiet at night, ensuring a restful sleep. "First I would like to say that the staff provided excellent service. The front desk staff went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast service and food was exceptional. "Absolutely awesome place. Big, clean rooms well located. Great staff and great breakfast. I didn’t like having to book a breakfast slot but understand why they do it. I also had a “quiet” room but I could still hear the music from the bar, that said I put earplugs and promptly went to sleep. Definitely would stay again. "
