"Our stay was wonderful. The owner is absolutely the best. Empire is so cozy, it doesn't feel like other hotels. Its more like someones home. We had a beautiful view of the Ohio river. We hope to go back when its warm out. It has a beautiful porch to relax on. Thank you Marsha."

"This place is appalling. The owners are cheap and filthy. Filth literally dripping down the walls. You don't even get soap to wash your hands with. No shampoo. Nothing. Every towel has stains. The pillows are flat and stained. The mattresses are ancient and uncomfortable. The room had an overpowering scent of some sort. Most of the rooms have people actually living there and it was noisy all night. Shower curtain was orange around the bottom from mold. Avoid this dump!!"

"I booked a room at the casino resort and found out our room was in a totally different building well separate from the casino, pool, dining etc. It wasn't terrible, at least it was quiet, but it was inconvenient and unexpected. Staff were friendly and let me check in early, but they're very short staffed. "

The place was not ready to be rented and the excuse was ‘we didn’t get a notification’ I rented this place because it said it allowed for events. The entire event was ruined. Vrbo could not re-find a place last minute. I reached out to be compensated for the thwarted plan -a legally defendable compensation- and it spun...
