"We had a wonderful stay! The owners waited up for us to arrive and were very kind and welcoming. The Victorian room was cozy and the whole property was clean and that's with roaming peacocks, a goat, a couple dogs, and a cat. Breakfast was good too! They have a pool but it was a little too chilly out for us. It is in the middle of nowhere so if you're low on gas get it at Beatty on your way over from Death Valley. I got a warm hug goodbye too. Shady Lady, we hope to meet up again some day."

"Conveniently located near Death Valley at a reasonable price. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but smelled of smoke (typical, I'm guessing for a casino hotel). The restaurant was a convenient bonus, though a bit pricey. We enjoyed our stay and made use of their store to prep for the day with cold drinks, snacks and ice for the cooler. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. It would be nice to stay in warmer weather when the pool is open! The staff was friendly and the views lovely, especially the lake just outside the restaurant. "
