"Great spot, friendly staff, parking is outside of the Old town, so you do have to walk a little from the car. Breakfast was great, with the local food spread. Service was great, not 24/7. Make sure to get two room keys, because if one stops working and you are out at night, it will be an issue getting back to the room. Emilija the manager was wonderful, thanks. "

"We stayed at Villa Chingo for 3 nights in the top floor 3 person room. The accomodation had amazing balcony views and was the perfect place for a peaceful start to our holiday. The premises were clean and there were kitchen facilities to use. The host Lupco was great- very friendly and helpful- he was always available for any questions and help. The one downside is that the location is quite far from Ohrid town, so unless you want peaceful break or have a car, it may be a task to get a cab...

"We had a lovely stay. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Good location right by the lake and it’s easy to walk over the border to the monestry heritage site. The room was spacious with balcony and had a fridge. The only negative was the curtains were very thin, so the room got very light early in the morning."

"Wonderful room on the 3rd floor with huge balcony and a view of the lake and beyond. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good, plenty to choose from. No toaster for the bread ? We ate at the rooftop restaurant which was ok but the stand out was our lovely waiter who did an excellent job looking after a full restaurant. "

"Nice small apartment. It’s clean You have to contact the owner to meet you at a check point to take you to the property. Several things to consider: 1- the address is not the same as the one mentioned on Expedia, it’s up the hill and so exhausting to walk it up if you are coming from the beach or the center of the city. "Daniel and his mom have taken care of me as though I am family. I intended to stay for 3 days and have extended to over 2 weeks. The apartment is well equipped and the bed is extremely comfortable. The apartment is in a perfect location with many restaurants, supermarkets, cafes and shops. "
