"The cabin is at the TOP of a mountain so the view is fabulous. Great sunrise and gorgeous leaf colors surround the cabin and the drive up to it.. Nicely furnished with period antiques. It is cozy so look at the total square feet and make sure this is right for you. Very nice host and Franklin and surrounding area are fun to explore."

The multiple levels of the house allow for space and privacy if desired and the main level has plenty of room to gather around the kitchen. "We’ve stayed in many VRBO places and this is my very favorite. Hated to leave. Loved the creek running right by the house and spent a lot of time enjoying it. Home is beautifully decorated, well stocked, easy to get into Franklin. Didn’t have a chance to use the fire circles as the weather didn’t cooperate on the day we were free. Nice hike at Rufus Morgan trail and gorgeous views at Wayah Bald and tower. Kathy was very responsive to any questions. Hope to return some day "

"My family and I headed to Franklin for a long weekend with a large group (four families) ranging in age from 2-70. The cabin had ample space for everyone to gather together for meals ad well as their own space for sleeping. The house was clean, beautifully decorated and fully stocked with all we needed. Close to hiking trails and a waterfall everyone was able to walk to. Beautiful view from front porch and large yard for the children to explore! "
