"However very hard to get to, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days on the island. It was quiet and safe and we felt very much at peace in our bure, thus the added bonus of its inaccessibility to the noisy public. The Fijian staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming. If there was a negative it would be the food/cooking quality. The breakfasts were outstanding but the buffet-style dinners and lunches were too bland and overcooked and became repetitive! "

"Before going to the Beachcomber Hotel we couldn't find many reviews online so we had to resort to personal experiences and comments from friends and co-workers. Most didn't have much more infomation besides it was the "party island" but still beautiful, since it's Fiji! "We had the best time at Castaway. The people who work there are genuinely such lovely people who brought so much fun and joy to every experience. It’s a small property and that enables the ability to either lean into the community vibe or just have a quiet and relaxed holiday. "We were surprised that the property only consisted of one unit. It was a little more rustic than expected. However the owner shared meals with us at his home & the food was unique & delicious. As a dive master he took us snorkeling & was a great guide. He showed us around his property & the construction he has been working on for three additional units. The location is great. Made up for the rustic accommodations."
