"The house is very nice situated on the beach, everyday beutiful sunsets. Spent wonderful moments with family and friends at the pool, on the beach and surrounding caves. Alex is a nice friendly guy, always willing to help. Rolando, the owner is a nice guy, good comunication and accomodate us without any issues. The space downstairs and the kitchen was very nice, nice breeze and the yard is so relaxing. Thank you for letting stay at your place Rolando, and allowing us to build some nice memories."

We were very close to the wonderful Playa Blanca, which we spent every day at. My college-age children loved it and so did my wife and I. "BUYER BEWARE No hot water and beach is dirty. I contacted Vacasa before confirming reservation to verify had hot water due to previous review. I was told I would have hot water but never did. The pool water was warmer than the shower. The company was notified as soon as we knew there was no hot water. Beach is very dirty due to ships waiting to get into port and dumping garbage while waiting. We did see monkeys and birds which were beautiful. Sorry for the bad review I tried to work with you."

"Never again. We had to leave 2 days early and try to find another place on high season for my party of 8 because of over booking. The service was just terrible. To bad, because the area was great. Dont rent from this place."

"If you are going for a beach, choose a different resort. The beach is not meant for swimming. Shipping port is in view and the water is brown. Beach is not clean. "I had a really nice stay here. The room was clean and secure, the wifi, air conditioning, shower, all worked great. The staff was super- friendly and helpful. They were patient with my awful Spanish and were able to switch to English when needed. Even the restaurant had good food. Not a luxery resort, but perfectably servicable at a good price. Puntarenas isn't the "nicest" town per se but it is interesting and authentic and this hotel is very good."
