"Ok Parking always an issue on site and not a great route in but public car park nearby and is discounted. Room was really cold and no A/C. But they quickly changed it for a better one. Breakfast wasn’t bad for a hotel Buffet "

"A beautiful heritage estate of large proportions and character. The history was fascinating. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were superb. A beautiful country setting with beautiful views of the river and farmland. Well equipped rooms, with all appliances you could ever need. Rooms were cosy and warm. We loved using the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Highly recommend and I would love to stay here again, given the opportunity."

"I have stayed here before and this visit was as good as my previous ones. I received a warm welcome, check in was quick and easy. My room was warm, clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was also good. There was no noise from the other rooms, so had a good nights sleep. I used the secure car park, with no problems. I cannot comment on the food as I did not eat there, but there looked to be plenty of choice on the menu. I would stay there again with no hesitation"

"Tbh it wasn't that bad for the stay me and my boyfriend had. We went to alton towers when we stayed over and we didn't want to spend like £600+ on hotels inside the park. I had heard that recently this b&b was under new management the staff were great tbh. We had a chat with one of the staff that were there when we got back from alton towers on the Saturday and he was incredibly nice. We had free breakfast with our stay. The only thing i will say is that the rooms were tiny and they didn't have...

"Lovely hotel and good food, our only complaint was that the heating in the room was not on when we arrived and we were told that it would not be switched on until 4.30 pm! Given that check in time is 3pm surely the heating should be on by then!!"
