"A beautiful place with very friendly and accommodating staff! It also has a nice looking pool and hot tub that I couldn't check out due to the weather. The landscaping is magical and offers multiple hidden seating areas. The vi we w across the valley is simply spectacular. The noise of the nearby highway can be bothersome when the semis are trucking up or down the mountain, but it's easily quieted if you shut the windows. "La chambre est très bien équipée, spacieuse et confortable. Le personnel est très attentionné et la vue est magnifique sur les villes de Cartago et San Jose situées plus bas. Cet établissement est idéal pour accéder aux cratères du Volcan Irazu tôt le matin. Vu notre départ avant l'heure du petit déjeuner, nous avons reçu celui-ci la veille et avons tout déposé dans le frigo pour manger avant notre départ pour le volcan. "

"It was so horrible very small ugly old fashioned and with staircase that I couldn't stay because i have problem with walking and problem with my back. So I had to go and look for a more better place. They said they understand and will return my money paid to them up to dat my money is not embourse to me. And they said the will. "I didnt like the traffic noise and the annoying barking dog. This is my second stay and found the same dog still there barking. I asked myself why the Hotel management doesn't talk to the dog's owner about the dogs barking. I thought the price was reasonable."
