"The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the hotel cat, Henry Marbles. He is very friendly and loved by all. The room was clean, but the fittings were old. The bath faucet handle was broken and the water dripped . I had to get help to turn on the shower each time I needed to take a shower. Walls are thin, so you can hear everything from the adjoining rooms and the hall. One room had their tv on till past midnight. "This is a very cute place to stay, especially if you love antiques and history. A perfect get away for anyone wanting quiet and, perhaps, reading or study time. There is no TV, and due to the antique decor, I wouldn’t recommend this as a place for kids."
