Three generations enjoy vacation together

The covered patio and grotto pool with waterfall was a real hit with the whole family, and the arcade room had all the right games to keep active teens entertained. The whole house is well appointed and all the bedrooms and baths were comfortable and neat. There is plenty of parking for larger groups. We all enjoyed our stay.

The Grotto

The home is within 15-20 minutes to everything. There is a lot to do right on site with the games room, cards and board games. With three families and generations the layout of the house was perfect for all of us. It had a private area for each family group and communal areas for all to meet as well. It's starting to show it's age but still very functional and peaceful (except for the rooster next door). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this location for a larger group.

Amazing guys golf trip

Place is exactly as advertised. It was Clean had tons of room for out party of 12. the pool and spa are great only 20 min from most golf courses . And it was nice to have all the room with no neighbors.

So many things to do!

Great property, lots of fun and so many activities--we didn't get to them all! The house is a bit smaller than expected, but there were still plenty of beds for my group. A few things could be tightened up around the house (fixtures, handles, etc.).

Great property

The property is wonderful for a family. Game room was great. Only issue we had was figuring out pool and hot tub controls. Needs to be set up on a scheduled program so people dont have to mess with the programming themselves.

Beautiful desert oasis!

This property is a private compound offering a spacious home with enough room to accommodate 6 adults and 2 children with private space! The pool was gorgeous with water falls and a lounging area! My grandsons especially loved the game room although all of the adults played the games as well. We enjoyed the fire pit in the late evening. The grounds were especially beautiful with nice breezes to moderate the heat without humidity.

Quiet, relaxing, beautiful - can't wait to return!

So many things were amazing! The game room was so much fun but it was the outside of the property that stole our hearts! We are a family that is constantly on the go - but we could have sat there all day and stared at the pool and surroundings. We hiked at Joshua Tree, around the Airtram and at Indian Caverns but couldn't wait to get back to the pool and beautiful grounds. Also....the property managers went out of their way to make your stay memorable, which doesn't always happen with VRBO properties. Do yourself a favor and book it!

Fun Family Time

Nice big property and very private. Beautiful pool, although we all got some scrapes from the rocks. The hot tub was also beautiful, if a bit difficult for those of us who are older to get into. The game room was amazing. The kids loved it. The online pictures are deceiving. My husband, who is in construction and home maintenance of vacation rentals and second and third homes, said the house needs some serious maintenance. Make sure to read the fine print about the extra costs for heating the pool.

Great property to host an event all weekend long. Never really left the compound except for golf. Had an issue with the a/c for the main living space, but Norman was able to have someone come to the house within 20-30 mins to fix it. Would definitely come back to reserve this house again.

Property and home were great, with amazing pool. Great for families! Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals at the house when we wanted to. Very clean, and the beds were very comfortable.

In general, it’s a very good staying, nice location and great privacy . Everyone enjoy various arcade games. Only thing that surprised me was the way the host calculates the gas usage of pool heating, don’t feel it’s fair.

Amazing Property! Fantastic Host!

This was a true find in the Palm Springs area. The property is just beautiful, exactly like the pictures. It was so relaxing to be here in December whether we were reading our books in the sunshine looking at the mountains or whether we were enjoying a cocktail in the hot tub. I went with 8 of my friends to play in a tennis tournament and this house had room for everyone. We enjoyed the hot tub practically every night and the game room was so fun! You should have seen our 50-70 year old age group laugh hysterically at the hockey game and pin ball machine. The pool table was a hit too. I wish we had more time to get out the corn hole set but that was on our list next. The outside is so comfortable with 3 couch options in addition to the shaded couch by the pool. We played our favorite songs one night and made an impromptu dance floor right by the pool. I would like to personally thank our host, Norm. He was so patient with our technical challenges (now I am an expert!) He responded within minutes to all of our questions and never made me feel like I was imposing. He even asked how our tennis tournament went. I so much appreciate this type of an owner versus a management company. There is an automatic gate that encloses the property which really makes you feel secure. And there is a remote control used to open and shut it which is very convenient. I was worried about the wifi since we were in the dessert, but just as Norm promised it was "skippy"! I had no issue with working from this awesome house. I think it was even faster than my own home! There were hot springs near by- 10 minutes away. That was a super fun day trip. Azure Palm Hot Springs Resort & Day Spa Oasis. I think this house would appeal to all ages since there is so much you can do. I want to come back in the Fall when the weather will be more pool like. You can heat the pool if you like but we chose to relax in the hot tub and then those brave enough did get in the pool for a "polar plunge". So fun! This vacation created so many fun memories for us and where you stay is certainly a big part of it!

Wonderful experience

We stayed at the property with my two adult children and our 4 grandkids ranging in age from 16 months to 6 years of age and had a wonderful time. The property was spacious and had lots for us to do. The game room was a HUGE asset!! The bedrooms were nice sized and the pool and hot tub were amazing. The owner was SO easy to reach when we needed to get in touch with him and was right there to help with our needs. We will be staying here again next year! It was an awesome family vacation we will all remember. Highly recommend this property.
