What isn't obvious from the listing is the direct access and use of the outside sitting area/table by the kitchen door and the beautiful garden space. "It is an extremely well equipped house with the most modern infrastructure for ski depot and welness. However, this house is not ski in/ski out as mentioned (lifts at 4 km). The pool heating was broken and despite multiple asks to the owner they only fixed it on the last day of our holidays…so we have not been able to swim."

"I had the best 5 day stay at mountain plaza in Davos. Before arriving I had requested to cancel a day for a refund as my plans changed. I called the front desk and had a lovely conversation with Fabio. This was a bit of foreshadowing to my stay. A fabulous hotel near to centre of St Moritz

"A very reasonably price hotel close to the center of old town St Moritz. The staff were extremely helpful. The hotel has a nice little spa and the rooms were clean and relatively spacious.Try to get a lakeside view room if you can. The view is worth the supplement alone. Finally and maybe the most important aspect it also has the greatest commerical selection of Whiskeys in the world!"

"The location is perfect, walking distance to Ski Lift and downtown, as well as hiking paths. The hotel has agreement with Ovaverva, a complex with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, water slides, Gym and spa. This is perfect to relax after a day of skiing or hiking. The staff is incredibly polite and professional. They make you feel like a royal guest. Staff members are from many different nationalities, and they all speak many languages. This makes the ambient very interesting, warming and welcoming. The so many options for dining are all fantastic. The bar is great. The Lobby has ample space with all kind of seating options from high-desk for laptops to coffee/tea chairs to cozy sofas. Our favorite spot was the sofa near the fireplace which gives a nice warm look and wood aroma to the entire area. The breakfast, included in room rates, is superb, with so many options for all tastes, from cereals, yogurts, and fruits, to fresh or grilled vegetables, wide selection of cheese and cold meats, different types of breads to an omelette station! Great juices and two espresso machines with perfect coffee of any type of preparation. Housekeeping staff, all international and multilingual, are super polite and quite fast. Before you know, your room is all cleaned and done! We stayed in room 461, a great corner room with awesome views. Our kids stayed at room 150, very spacious and nice balcony. We had a lovely stay and would return any time. It could not have been better."

Amazing!

There are two restaurants (we had a lovely chat with the woman who owns the one up the street) and a small grocery store where you can pre-order a fondue mix to eat in the apartment (highly recommend!). Oh yes and the highest brewery in Switzerland is right next door! The apartment is in a traditional (older) house so it is not everything is new but it is perfectly adequate. Ursula and Christian live downstairs and were amazing, lovely hosts. They were incredibly responsive and while Christian spoke English quite well, Ursula struggled a bit but attempted to speak in English with us, for which we are so grateful. She even provided a sled for our daughter to use in the vast yard (with an amazing view!) behind the house. 10/10 would recommend and would love to come back!"
