Owner was great, location is convenient!
I often have to go into my office for meetings and this home was very close and convenient to downtown. The home was cute and comfortable. The owner was very quick in replying and very kind. I would recommend to research the various locations and neighborhoods in the Dallas area so you’re fully informed of the location.

Great Place to Stay!
The home is a bright spot in a developing neighborhood. We were headed to the State Fair and it is conveniently located nearby. Read the full location description. The closest Walmart is at least 10mins away & Kroger is 15mins. The home is comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The backyard was a nice surprise! The bathtub doesn’t have a stopper, but the water pressure in the master shower is outstanding. The check in/out process was a breeze. As the surrounding neighborhood develops, this will be a gem to stay in Dallas.

Checked in at around 5 and left for the day and come back to bugs everywhere at 3 am. Had to go to relatives for the night and now I am in violation and responsible to contact to host at 3am about bugs and was still expected to stay in the infestation until the host responded. Contacted VRBO and was told to work with the host because this is considered a reservation cancellation and it was a minor incident. Who wants to stay in a house with bugs!!! Lesson learned with VRBO

Great place to hang our heads for a night
Great little house. Very clean, and exactly as presented in the ad. Host was extremely responsive and accommodating. Up and coming area, that presented no worries for us. So close to downtown and the family event we were attending. Would be the perfect location for anyone attending the State Fair/Tx-ou/concerts at Fair Park. Would stay again without hesitation.

Beware - very misleading
Ultimately, we did not stay because upon arrival to the property, we were fearful for our safety. The description of the property (recently revised after our complaint) is deceiving and does not reference the conditions of the neighborhood. "Up-coming" is a far stretch as is the statement that the property is perfect for "families and couples with kids." After contacting the host with our concerns of deception and request for some form of a refund, we were quickly dismissed and referred to an article defining up-and-coming. An apology was given that we "felt uncomfortable." The matter was not comfort level, but safety. I do not recommend this property for anyone, but especially for families or those with children. The property itself may have undergone renovation, but there are absolutely no other signs of "revitalization" going on, only suspicious activity.
