My daughter and myself enjoyed our stay in one of the 2 bedroom one's each room offering a super king size bed and ensuite, TV's in each room, comfortable lounge area and well equipped kitchen, the hotel bar and restaurant is only a short walk across the car park with a great choice of lunch and evening meals available. "The staff were extremely friendly, and the room was acceptable with a good shower. The breakfasts were basic, and the dinners were pub style but adequate. The area is right in the countryside and the historic village church is well worth a visit"

"The staff, the food at both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Parking is just across a quiet road. Our room however left us literally cold. Old building, 'wavy' floors, single glazed casement windows facing the prevailing - brisk - wind and an outside temperature of close to freezing. Then the heating gets switched off for the night ! Considering that this was the most expensive 'one nighter' on our recent trip, we were less than satisfied."
