"Location is great. Facilities are great. Front desk great. Felt that hot water did not last sufficiently long for a family of 4. Had golf cart parked on our parking space and when we tried driving around it to get to our unit we scratched car on the hedges which is unfortunate as it is a rental car. Some issues with bugs getting into the house which we had to remove as one of the members in our family was bug phobic.

"The view from my room was beautiful! The room was perfect for a couple. I would give it a five stars rating if the bathroom didn’t smell like mold. I told the front desk; they said they would look into it; but nothing was done. In addition, the TV didn’t work on the third day that we were there. They could not fix it 😕
The construction noise started from 07am to 10 pm.
There was only one road to get in and out of town. It was very very bumpy!

"The home is immaculate! Our group consisted of four couples in our 60’s . We loved the home and would definitely stay here again. If I dig deep on an improvement it would be the quality of the bed/bedding - but who wants to be that person??"

"We stayed for 4 days with a group of 13. It worked out really great. There is plenty of space, bathrooms, activities and the kitchen was great for food/drinks. Plus the washer/dryer and towels/linens provided was an added bonus. Any time I had a question the manager off property and on were extremely attentive and helpful.The area is extremely accessible for anything you may want or need. You will not be disappointed by choosing to stay. "

"This location was exactly what our family needed. The house was beautiful. It had a breathtaking ocean view and the natural wonders of the jungle. We saw toucans, Izzy the resident Iguana and a small tapir. We could hear howler monkeys all around in the mornings. Mark was on the spot communicating with us to make our arrival seamless. Rolando was a huge help checking.

"We had such an amazing time at this VRBO. It is such a beautiful home with amazing view and lush flora right out your window. The host was so amazing to work with. His communication was fast and great. The can opener needed replaced and he dropped one of the next day. He was very attentive to any need. I highly recommend this location. "Located in the heart of Santa Teresa, this was a decent stop for a couple of nights. Bear in mind it is located directly off the main strip, so it is quite loud at all times. That being said, the property is extremely walkable with all amenities close by, and no 4x4 required to access unlike some of the other properties located up the hill. . The living room AC kept the unit cool, and the equipped kitchen was appreciated. Decent price for the space, and property rep was very responsive."

It is a sensory feast - the gardens, butterflies, parrots, iguanas, songbirds, toucans, ocean and mountain views, smells of flowers and jungle - you just don't get tired of it. "Liked the good food, good pools, grounds were great, and people working there were great. The building is grand and built with great beauty but the place has seen a lot of use - the fixtures in the bathroom sinks are warn and tarnished, the door to the room was in need of being stripped and re-varnished. Still the place looks beautiful - but it does not look new. The place was clean and welcoming. "

"Randall helped us so much from when we got there until we departed with excursions transportation everyone was so friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend to go take a tour also with Samuel driver and tour guide with Daniel with Costa Rica unique tours. Oh and the views and drinks are amazing!! Pura Vida "

"I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for one night after a flight from the USA. The staff was very helpful with questions asked about transportation and exchanged some larger colones into smaller bills for me.
The breakfast buffet was very good although pricier than I realized.

"Arenal Manoa is absolutely amazing!! The staff is fabulous, they know your name, polite, friendly. The grounds are beautiful, well kept. We stayed in the Chato Suite and it felt like our own private oasis with a breathtaking backyard space, swinging sofa, multiple sitting/laying arrangements around a fabulous pool with perfect views of the Arenal Volcano. Buffett breakfast included, sushi, pizza and restaurant on site, we ordered room service multiple times and received it quick. Spa by the river and multiple natural hot springs on the property, they added some in an adult only zone, all are surrounded and under the lush vegetation on the property and a perfect escape. We also booked RT transportation to/from hotel and 2 tours through them. Arenal Manoa staff know how to make you feel special and cater to your needs. It was a most memorable vacation and we will return! "
