About this property

Glamping at Copperhill - "The Prospector"

Seeking adventure? A quiet reprieve? We've got it all in Copperhill! Our scenic property offers 8.5 acres of serenity with 4 rustic/modern cabins, all outfitted with kitchens and cozy accommodations. (Ask us about reserving the entire grounds for your group outing). Spend the day White Water Rafting on the Ocoee River. Then, come home to peace & quiet and slumber the night away in the most comfortable of surroundings while listening to the sounds of nature.

Wander the grounds or fish (catch & release) at the 1/2 acre stocked pond. The property is great for grabing a blanket and having a picnic or stargazing in the large open area.

Access everything within the cabin and on the porch. The stocked pond, large fire-pit and small stream are all accessible to guests.

Great location. Lodge games for the kids was an extra, the grill area, bar, firepits, picnic tables bar and fridge/freezer made it easy to camp/cook. Very peaceful and quiet. The "a/c" in the tents struggled, making it difficult to get comfortable at the end of a day of hiking. We only used the microwave on the last morning. Getting up early for a long trip back home and it repeatedly failed, annoying as we purchased ready meals knowing we could use the microwave. Overall it was a great place to stay but we wouldn't do the tent experience again, especially in the summer.

We booked the Glamping tent on a whim just a few days before our trip. I am so thankful that we did. The property is gorgeous, the tent amazing, bathrooms spotless, lodge incredible. The owners are wonderful if you get the chance to hang with them. Our kids and dog throughly enjoyed the experience. I would 10/10 stay there again.

Couldn't have been better
I took my boyfriend here for a surprise bday. Lesa & Everette went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The tent was so awesome and the bed was soooo comfy. They provided towels / water and the bathrooms were so clean & lovely. The lodge was gorgeous and so clean. We played pool and watched football and enjoyed the camp fires. This was also very close to town .. only 7 minutes away from mccraysville and about 25 min to downtown blue ridge. Succeeded my expectations. We can't wait to go back!

Glamping fun
Wonderful location. Tent was very spacious and bed was very comfortable. Even with the cold temperatures outside the tent was surprisingly comfortable. Owners had a free standing ac and heating unit inside the glamping tent that kept it at a pleasant temperature. (Still need to dress warm, but not in an Eskimo suit haha) Wonderful place to stay and loved the local town and dinner suggestions from the owners.

The Best Way to Camp!
We had a great stay in the Prospector tent. The hosts are the sweetest couple and were there to show us around upon arrival. The tent was super cute and had everything we needed. The coffee maker was a welcome addition. The resort is super dog friendly. The porch has a locking gate to keep your pup contained. It was a chilly weekend but we were nice and warm in the comfy bed. The lodge was very nice and would be perfect for a larger group. The bath house was immaculate all day and night. They even built fires for us at night. Highly recommended and we will be returning. It was also easy to find and conveniently located close to downtown Copperhill / McCaysville.
