The historic Stonehouse at the Confluence was built in 1920 and completely remodeled in 2017. It sits on the banks of the Casselman River where it meets the Youghiogheny and Laurel Hill Creek. It is situated on a half acre corner lot in the area's most desired location.
The house sleeps up to 10 with 4 upstairs bedrooms and a sleeper couch for non stair climbing guests in the living room. There are two full bathrooms upstairs and one full on the main floor.
The home is charming and spacious with beautiful, newly refinished hardwood floors throughout. While everything is new and modern, the charms of a home built almost 100 years ago are present. With a brand new, well equipped kitchen open to a magnificent dining room, it's the perfect home for families or groups of friend to gather.
It has a large porch ideal for relaxing and a backyard with hot tub on the riverside and a large level yard perfect for tossing a football or playing cornhole. The home is walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the GAP bike trail. Take your pick of the 3 rivers for fishing or just relax on the porch listening to the rivers and birds. Trains run on the railroad tracks across the river.
Completely newly renovated–everything is brand new. Amenities include: hot tub, gas log fireplace, TV/DVD player, washer/dryer, high speed & wireless Internet, Comcast cable, gas grill, air conditioning and outdoor fire pit. All linens and towels are provided. Confluence has both a Verizon and AT&T cell tower and both work well from the house. Our home is kid friendly, with highchair and crib.
With 4 distinct seasons, the house is available year round.
Please note that there is a security camera/motion detection light mounted on the porch, facing the driveway, that we use to monitor when the space is vacant.
