"Old Kirkstead is a really nice spot which was enjoyed by kids and parents alike. "Everything about the house was superb. It was spacious yet cosy and you felt at home as soon as you walked in. The house is well equipped. "The Garden Cottage is such a fantastic spot. My family was traveling to Scotland for a wedding and needed a nearby accommodation with minimal stairs for the 92 yr old grandmother. The Garden Cottage seemed to be a good choice until we walked in the door and WOW, it exceeded all expectations. "We found the home to be a very nice size with ample room for us. The recent upgrades and renovations were very well done. We did have a bit of difficulty navigating the one way streets for the parking situation. Parking lot across the street was close and free during our stay which was very good.
