"This was our second stay at Tin Can Bay's Sleepy Lagoon Motel in less than a month. Our first stay was over NYE and there was local 8.30pm fireworks the reserve directly across the road which was a lovely surprise. Tin Can Bay's Sleepy Lagoon Motel is great accommodation choice for a young families as the rooms are comfortable, have a kitchenette and air-conditioning. It was a convenient place to stay being next door to an old fashioned Aussie pub, across the road from a recreational reserve great for a ball game and for the kids to run around, it's a short drive or walk away from the town centre and shops, and is close to other parks, waters edge and 4 minute drive or an easy 20 minute drive to the dolphin feeding. The property was maintained, safe and has several sitting areas and 2 BBQ's. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. Very recommended 😊"

"Very friendly and helpful. When I contacted them to say we would be arriving after the office was closed, she told me our room number and where to find the key. Parking was outside our room, and under cover. Bed was better than expected - slept all night. Enough bench space to make tea/coffee, small table in kitchen. Had to use bathroom sink to wash cups, but that was OK. Hot water in shower was almost instant. Close to downtown, brochures in room folder. Definitely recommend."

"We are a family with two young children and we stayed for 7 nights. We had fabulous time, so clean, quiet and convenient. Everything we needed was either already in the room or literally a 60 seconds walk to the local extremely well stocked IGA. Debbie is effortlessly accomodating and friendly, that’s just her nature, no pretence. All other staff, Tina and her partner and furry friend and Barbara are beautiful too. The natural beauty in Rainbow beach is probably difficult to rival elsewhere. We loved the local food, shops and nature walks, the beach and the local attractions. It is paradise and worth staying longer to explore! Loved it!"
