"The Staff was excellent and went out of their way to accommodate us. The hotel had parking access inside the gate to the town. It was very clean and there was a simple breakfast in the morning with healthy options. The only problem we had was that the bed was extremely hard. So hard the we both tossed all night and woke with terrible back and shoulder pains. The bathroom was clean but the shower was so small you could not turn around in it. Overall we give it a 4 as we needed a clean place...

"The stag was incredibly friendly. The location is really great. The room that we “upgraded to” was tiny. They also told us when we checked in they upgraded us further to a nicer room than we purchased but I didn’t see how that could be. The room was just a bed with a small desk and a bathroom. Again, great staff, great location but the room itself left something to be desired. We could clearly hear the people in the room across the hall as if they were standing in the bathroom talking to us....

"This place exceed expectations, the church and naturist vibe were amazing. Who needs a TV or AC anyhow. Amazing views of the ocean, nice outside area with tables for enjoying a bottle of wine and watching the sunset. Went in July and even without AC temperatures overnight was in the low 60F. Close to two trails to Monterosso and Vernazza. For the true hiker who wants to be away from the tourist this place is the perfect fit"

"Hotel Porto Roca is absolutely beautiful. Rooms are brand new - super clean, modern, wonderful bathroom. Our room was a 2 room suite with a large balcony overlooking the sea - absolutely stunning views. Breakfast buffet was very nice with a large selections. Hotel offers transportation to and from main part of town - a very short walk but with luggage transportation is was very beneficial. Highly highly recommend this hotel . "

"This property was wonderful! Couple of things to note about Riomaggiore and Cinque Terre- there are lots of steps/stairs everywhere. This was fine for me but I could imagine others having difficulties getting around the area. Back to the property- the host met us at the train station and our room was ready early which was awesome for us after a day of travel. Amazing views of the ocean from the room. "We enjoyed our stay in Riomaggorie and Cinque Terre. This is such a great place to stay. We choose a bigger room that had a third bed, and we had great views of the water. The owners are very nice. While it does not include breakfast, there are groceries nearby to buy food. They have coffee and tea in the room. Will be back. "

"We visited recently for a 3 night stay in Cinque Terra. This is a very basic BNB. It is definitely away from the hustle and bustle of Cinque Terra but that is what we wanted. A few notes: there is no air conditioning. There was a fan and we had cool evenings so not a big deal. But to those traveling in the warmer months, just note that. We had room 2 and it is literally a room with a bed in it - not much else. It did have its own private bathroom which was clean and quite large for the size...

"I had a wonderful time at Rioggamoire! The property offers absolutely breathtaking scenic views that made our stay feel so special. "I accidentally booked a room without a bathroom, but since the hotel wasn’t fully booked, they kindly upgraded me to a room with a private bathroom at no extra cost—without me even asking. The woman who checked me in was incredibly kind and gave me a full tour of the property, which was a nice touch. The hotel itself was beautiful, well-kept, and very clean. My room was also spotless and nicely maintained. I was surprised to see this hotel rated as a two-star—I would definitely consider it worthy of three stars. They do offer luggage storage, but it’s in a public area, so there is a possibility that someone could access or go through your bags. However, I had no issues retrieving mine. The breakfast was excellent—one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had, with plenty of options. The location is also very convenient, close to the train station, making it easy to get to without any trouble."
