Racecourse Villa - 5 Bedroom townhouse near Riccarton racecourse

Stunning townhouse close to Riccarton Racecourse with shops restaurants next door. This home is close to the airport, Riccarton Racecourse, public transport and family-friendly activities. Youll love the space it has to offer - a huge living area (with adjoining sunroom) with a wood burner for those cooler nights and a great sized dining room. The bedrooms are spacious and include 2 ensuites along with a main bathroom upstairs and a shower with bathroom facilities located downstairs to service the ground floor bedroom. The house also includes a pool table, located in the sleep-out behind the garage.
This home has 5 good sized bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and 2 ensuite bedrooms. The room with twin bunk beds has a full size trundler bed available on request. There is also a sun room available off the main living room with a day bed that will convert to a King size bed also. If you are in a large group please advise how you would like the beds configured.
A short drive from the airport or CBD with plenty of off-street parking, and on main bus routes. Please look online for the bus timetables on the Christchurch Metro info page. On the corner of Yaldhurst and Racecourse Rds there is a bakery, dairy, and takeaway restaurants.

Did the trick....
An older home with charm. Lots of room to spread out. Stairs made it difficult for older folks but bedroom on the ground floor fixed that. Only negative was the road noise at night - a very busy street with truck activity was loud.

Geriatric girls trip
I had organised a geriatric girl’s road trip for my sister and a group of knitters/crafters, Racecourse Villa being the Christchurch leg. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. There was plenty of space for all 9 of us in this lovely property, clean and tidy, everything we needed. Would recommend to anyone.

Clean, spacious and well-maintained home
The house is comfortable, spacious and light, and equipped with almost everything we needed for our group of 7 (3 adults, 4 kids). A small downside is that most of the bedrooms have no shelves or chest of drawers, although they do have closets. This is fine for a short stay, but for a longer stay, it's a little tricky figuring out where to put everything. We were lucky enough to be there during very warm weather, and the house does get quite hot, especially upstairs. There is one air-conditioning unit in the living room downstairs, but it didn't really do much to cool the upstairs bedrooms and the whole house got quite hot in the middle of the day. Other than those small issues, the house was perfect for our group. Communication with the property manager was fast and friendly, and they let us drop off our luggage early when we arrived sooner than anticipated. The washer and dryer are very useful. There's even an extra "sleep-out" room, attached to the garage but separate from the rest of the house. although we didn't use it. There is a small collection of shops literally next door, which was very useful for picking up milk, eggs, bakery items and Thai and Indian takeaway.
