"Stayed for 5 nights and everyday the keycard had to be reset at the counter. I was given only 2 bottles of water instead of one per night. I only had two little cointainers of shampoo instead of 5. "

Should be described as "Colonial" or Victorian" as opposed to "Antique" because it has a very nice feel and comfort to it and not an old, boring one. Located in a perfect location. Will return soon. "Our stay at this hostel was good, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a 1 bunk bedroom and the area was clean (including the bathroom). The staff even took care of our luggage for a couple of hours while we came back from a trip. Our only complaints are that the shower barely had any pressure, one of the lockers didn't close, and that the window was open when we arrived, so the room had mosquitoes inside. "It took them 30 minutes to give me a room. Then they gave me a room where there were already people in it and I had to go down to complain and get an empty one. This has never happened to me before. It was a bad experience. I do not recommend it"

"Check in was friendly and efficient. Room spacious and comfortable. Plenty of showers and toilets. Decent breakfast and kitchen space for guest use. Cute outside space with an adorable family of rabbits. Hostel is located centrally so really easy to find and get out to explore Xalapa and surrounding area. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay on a budget. "
