Great hotel with clean rooms, excellent location, and very nice staff. Great rates and right on the moat can't beat it. Would definitely stay here again.

Very good basic hotel. The rooms are clean with a great air conditioner. Friendly staff always smiling. Easy to get taxis and tuk tuks. Very inexpensive rates and perfect for budget travelers.
Stayed here for 3 night with my partner and it is in a very good location, just next to the moat and not a far walk from tha pae gate. However it is on the corner of a busy road and was woken up a few times by loud motorbikes and cars driving past. The bed was very uncomfortable but you do get lots of pillows which is good - but still woke up with a bad back most mornings! However the rooms were clean & we were given extra towels/toiletries every day. The staff are very friendly however and always said hello and willing to help us with any questions we had. The room rate is a bit expensive and I have stayed in better hotel rooms in central Chiang Mai for cheaper.

We stayed at Miami hotel for 3 nights. Great location but a bit noisy. Very spacious room. The owner is very friendly and kind.
Checked out after one night. It's so noisy as its on a corner of a junction right on the moat. The shape of the building funnels the sound at you and the single glazing does not keep the sound out. The room was also dirty with dust/road film and the bed was broken so made a lot of noise when you move. Basically a grim place only suitable for a big drinker who only wants somewhere to flop out for the night.

Steps from Old town.
Clean, large although dated room. Friendly and helpful staff. The only down side is that it is located on a busy street. So can be noisy.
A good value overall though.
This is our third stay and we have one more booking. The hotel getting tired furniture / tv old bathroom big yes but basiic.
Set on a main road which is noisy and busy to cross but has off street parking. Short walk to old town, bars, restaurants etc
Friendly staff free coffee and biscuits only in morning.
Maybe a little overpriced but haven't compared other properties.

Quite good for short stay
The landlady is a very nice person. The room is clean and tidy. But it is quite noisy as it is near to the main road. Worth the stay for such an economic price.
This time my room was on the 3rd floor, it was an effort to get up two flight of steps to my room. But the advantage of being on higher floors is that you get a better night's sleep as I didn't even hear the traffic outside at all. The main disadvantage is there's no WiFi. I think the room is too far away from the connection point, hence it says that the Miami WiFi is out of range.

Quiet and Clean Paradise!
Pros:
1.) Room was cleaned everyday.
2.) Free coffee and tea.
3.) Very quiet; enabling for a good night sleep.
4.) Friendly and helpful staff. They went out of their way to secure me a room in Chiang Rai. The staff in the Chiang Rai hotel couldn't speak English, so the Miami staff booked a room for me in Thai.
5.) Close to everything, so you don't have to hassle for a tuk-tuk. Just walk down the street.
Cons:
1.) Mosquitoes. Bring a bug spray. Trust me, you'll need it.
2.) The hot water is not that hot. Or reliable.
3.) There's no lifts, so if you get the highest floor, you got to "exercise" over the stairs to get to your room. As for the 2nd floor rooms as they are the best.
4.) Sketchy internet. Not sure if it's because of the other roomies watching movies over the net- but on both occasions I stayed there the internet was sooooo slow.

Dated but ok spot for the price
Just a quick one night at a very basic hotel. Room was dated but comfortable with just the basics including an outdated tv but for the price it was what I expected. Staff was very friendly and communication was limited but helpful in arranging a ride to the airport.
Situé en périphérie du centre (au bord du carré) beaucoup de circulation passe devant jour et nuit. Les chambres donnent toutes sur la rue, donc... La propreté des draps était douteuse. On a trouvé une blatte ds la salle de bain. Bon c'est environ 15€ la nuit, mais pour 20€ on a migré au gapshouse, avec petit déj inclus : bungalow en bois, meublé avec charme et au calme.
Zeer oud beddengoed, tor in bed. Badkamer zeer stoffig en mieren.
Lokatie is wel ok. Zeer langzame wifi. Mevrouw wel aardig. Ik zou hier nooit meer heengaan!
