"The stay was quite clean and quaint. Every aspect of the place was very thoughful. Exemplary I would say. Fanny was an amazing host. Room was clean, bed confortable, bathrooms very clean. Also the dart board and pool table were fun as well. "

"Beautiful location walking distance to citadelle and old town Besançon near breathtaking views and the gorgeous walking path along the river. The hotel had an eclectic and charming lobby/ lounge. Our room was on the ground floor of an annex type building. It was clean and simple. There is no air conditioning which was not a problem for us in early June but might be in mid summer. There is very limited parking on property and we had to find street parking which was not an easy feat - the staff...

Pesme et sa maison royale est un endroit incontournable pour un public en quête de sérénité, calme , nature et architecture médiévale. "Call ahead about parking. Only small cars can park near hotel. Feels impossible to get your car between the walls of driveway but you can. Work was in progress on outside of hotel. No problem. Very old but surface remodel. Quite a travel adventure. Excellent restaurant in area. L’annexe"

"The staff were polite and very helpful. The room was clean but the elevator was scary - rickety, wobbly and some very strange noises. The drain in the shower had a dodgey odour. The heating worked well and it’s a safe place to stay. "
