Chatel is part of the French / Swiss ski resort des Portes du Soleil comprising 12 ski resorts including Morzine, Avoriaz, les Gets, Abondance, Champéry, Morgins and Torgon. It is ideally situated for both summer and winter holidays: Skiing, walking, mountain biking, the lake of Vonnes is situated at 2km from the chalet, for fishing in summer and skating in winter.
During the season the nearest convenience stores and restaurants are within 200m. There is a free shuttle between Chatel and le Linga at 200m.
