"Normally, I rent a large house with two or three couples; but this year we decided to take a last minute trip to MV for the Labor Day (2024) weekend. I was pleased to find a place at such short notice and at a reasonable price. This place did not disappoint! It is brand new, had everything that we needed; including a washer and dryer, beach chairs, and linens. We were close to downtown Vineyard Haven. We were sorry we didn’t have more time to spend there, but would definitely come back again....

You do have to get a ride (or bike) into town - my only issue was that I forgot to pack snacks/food for myself! Other than that (which was my own issue) the stay was absolutely perfect. "

"Clean, easy, quiet, spacious. The place was exactly as pictured on the listing and the hostess was so easy to work with! You do have to realize it's a basement apt so there is no outdoor seating, etc... (there is a grill though) but we were at the beach and eating out most nights so it was perfect for us! "Very sweet place for short-term stay. Once on the island, owner was very communicative. The listing is accurate - if you want to cook meals, keep in mind that there is no stove, hot-plate, or toaster, so it worked for us for a weekend (although would have loved a toaster!) The only reason for the 4 stars on cleanliness was because there was a pair of socks from previous renter left in the bathroom, but otherwise clean! It was great with our dog - very comfortable, not overly precious but still...
