「Very clean and comfortable. Service desk was polite and cheerful. Water wasn't quite hot enough, but worked and could hear freeway noise. Had a view of the ocean and pier. Breakfast was good and again the staff assisted to serve and were extremely friendly and polite. Would stay here again!」

「The property is old and facility is in fair condition. What is great about this property is its location and access to the beach. The sunsets are amazing. 」

「There is a significant extra charge for parking and since the hotel is located in a densely populated neighborhood there is really no alternative. Ventura city has terrible parking regulations-almost every space is sized for a compact car-so maybe this parking charge is just following those guidelines? I would give this hotel an excellent rating but for the parking issue. 」

「The hotel was good. The front desk person kept insisting we had only paid for 2 of our 3 rooms upfront even after presenting them with receipts. So that was a little frustrating. Other than that, the location is very convenient.」

「Stayed in the area as my son is in school at the navy base in Port Hueneme. We stayed in the 2 room suite, rooms and living area was spacious and clean. 5 minute walk to the beach and about 15 minute walk to the cute shopping area by beach with many restaurants to choose from. The breakfast lounge was being renovated so breakfast option was a decent to go option or a voucher to Weinersnetzel which had very good breakfast options. Only negative is the sofa bed and arm chair could use an update,...
