"This was a wonderful place to stay! It was about a 40-minute walk to the city center, but there is a bus stop right outside and it was very quick to go downtown that way if you don't have a car. There are hiking paths in the huge park nearby and an excellent restaurant across the street serving Slovenian cuisine. "Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Full disclaimer: hotel is a bit old but clean. Beds were very comfortable. Shower wasn't great and easy to flood the bathroom. Breakfast buffet and breakfast staff were excellent! Great location, about 2 minutes walk to the old town and 10-15 minutes to the train station. Would definitely stay again. "
