"The room was huge! Separate bedroom, separate bathroom, separate shower, large open concept kitchen, living room. Large balcony with great ocean view. Crickets at night. We stayed one night; before our cruise. Would stay there again. Only downside was we had to check out at 12 noon (which is still reasonable) but our embarkation is only at 5. We could have extended our stay but at 15 euros per hour. In CDN$ that’s quite steep."

"Spectacular place to stay. The rooms are spacious and clean, the property is located in the center of Fort-de-France, and the washing machine is so useful for those who are traveling for extended periods of time. I would absolutely stay here again the next time I am in Martinique."

"The description is over exaggerated. The place is clean but old. Towels were old. Breakfast was good. If you are looking for a cheap stay then this place is for you. I would rather pay a few more $. There's not much in the area other than by the marina, approximately 10 minutes walk from the hotel."

"This is a wonderfully situated hotel with a sweeping view down towards Fort-de-France, The staff is unfailingly helpful and cheerful. A delightful place with a gorgeous huge tree (don't recognize it but it looks about 200 years old) where you can sit and enjoy a quiet cup of coffee. A nice lap pool too. This is a class operation. I can't say enough good things about it and the people who run it."

Your lodging with a view of the bay in Fort de France

A beautiful view, a lovely home, and perfect hosts!

"We stayed 14 days in this beautiful property. It was exactly as depicted, but even better!!! The veranda and garden area were so lovely and peaceful. It is a perfect place to enjoy the warm Martinique nights, beautiful sunsets, or breakfast overlooking the bay. The inside living area was spacious, with a large living/dining room, large bedrooms, and a stocked kitchen. Thierry and Marie-Jose were terrific hosts. Although we got lost getting there (OUR fault!), Marie-Jose was patient enough to help us navigate to the property and greeted us warmly. They were so helpful with suggestions on what to see on the island and spoke English very well. There are great day trips to St. Pierre, Balata Garden, and Les Trios-Ilets. Short jaunts to the city center to see the Schoelcher Library and other museums and enjoy local fare for lunch. We recommend renting a car if you stay here. My father loved the property so much that he wanted to stay another week by the time we left. We wish we were back in Martinique now. Thank you, Thierry and Marie-Jose, for your warm hospitality and beautiful property; we hope to return soon!! "
