"The trident is a high end luxurious hotel. The staff in all areas of the hotel are impeccable and of the highest standards. Great value too. Excellent location for shopping at Colaba market. Only issue we had was checking in took a long time. The staff were great but it was clear they were challenged by a newly implemented IT system. The luggage room 30 mins to be sent to our room. The rooms may need some refreshing as areas such as bathroom and switches looking tired and worn. Overall a fabulous hotel. "

"Overall it was great. My room was upgraded. Front desk staff seem stressed and need a few more folks to help out. My lake view was blocked partially by the side of another building. The expedia/hotel.com rooms arent the same as the other rooms. Not sure why. Most people book on hotel.com/expedia nowadays. You really need to keep these folks happy! For a 5 star hotel the front desk can do better!!!"
