"Nice. Quite. Close, mid week short getaway for me and my fiancé. Over all I really liked the place. If the grill was fully working it would be better and just want to watch out for the door handles on the fridge and freezer, they are broken and the ladder coming out of the water on the lake, that is not fully attached, and there was a broken chair by the fire pit. But again over all this is a nice quiet peaceful place"

"This cottage is so country, quiet and cozy. The homeowners are close by and very friendly. I stayed for bike week and when rain was abroad they even offered shelter for the bikes! House was very clean and feels like home. "

"You can tell Charlie and kayla are both parents - they really did think of everything, even the small details to cater for a family getaway. Our kids loved the hidden bunk bed room behind the bookshelf door especially! All the games, books and toys kept them busy and we all loved the peaceful location by the river/lake. "The house was so incredibly cute! There were 4 of us and everyone had their own room (although we ended up not using two of them) and there was just enough space for us not to feel cramped. It was clean, modern lake house feel and the location is incredible. We got there at night and when I woke up in the morning to see the view and walk out to the lake I was blown away! Had a small water issue that we eventually got resolved but it didn't wreck the stay. If you're looking for a cute, comfy spot...

"The house was very nice and comfortable for four of us. Even though it rained each day, there is plenty of nearby shopping. We always try to do short term rentals when we travel. A couple of suggestions - the house had no wash cloths, no can opener, no salt & pepper shakers. Towels racks in the bathrooms would be a huge help. The listing indicated a hot tub and 2+ bathrooms. There was no hot tub and two full baths. There was no welcome booklet with local restaurants, points of interest, wifi...

"We had a great time! Swimming, paddle boards and kayaking! Grilled out dinners! This property provides everything! Tablecloth for picnic table, all kitchen supplies, grill supplies, and the list goes on! The nights got cool which was good. There are only 2 a/c’s in the house. Not only is this house dog friendly, but they provided dog bowls and an outdoor leash! My kids are 19, 17 and 7 and each one of them had a blast!"

We spent our vacation hiking so it was a convenient location as well when we traveled to the white mountains.
