This is an older property. It is a clean basic room, reasonably priced. There is a terrific little restaraunt right next door. The woman who owns the motel is accomodating and works very hard to keep it clean and maintained. The 2nd Street Cafe is next door and is terrific.

2nd time being here and is a great little place, plenty of space and only short walk to dock st. would recommend.

We used the local boat ramp and it was busy but organized. We lost a kayak paddle during our travels and the local kayak company, that rents kayaks at the corner of the beach, gave us a kayak paddle to use at no cost. The locals were friendly!
Cedar Key is like stepping back in time. We enjoyed the pace, the artsy community and the friendly locals.
Cedar Key is a rustic, fishing town. It had a funky feel. We enjoyed a meal at the Island Room and key lime pie at the Island Hotel.
Cute town; everything within walking distance. However if you are not into fishing or boating not a lot to do. Enjoyed the weekend but would not find myself staying longer

Quaint fishing town off the beaten path. Everyone was friendly. Nice getaway.
