"A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

"The the property was fantastic and exactly what I was looking for and more. It was beautifully presented and stylish. I loved the retro additions such as the record player with old fashioned albums, the book with old images of Swansea and the copy of Under Milk Wood. These together with a fabulous view over Swansea Bay and towards Mumbles Pier made it the perfect getaway for me and my elderly Dad who has dementia as it helped him to remember his youth and brought a twinkle to his eye. "

"Cottage well equipped everything you could need, good location for local walks, including the coast path and after a short steep decline good level walk all the way to Swansea via Mumbles, plenty of places to eat, if your feeling fit, regular buses ( 2 and 2A from Plunch lane and 3 A from the lighthouse car park) if you don't want to drive, just remember the 2 & 2A ( Sunday) only go one way in a circular route, that is down Plunch Lane and not up. "Lovely cottage but on a noisy road. Beautiful garden. Everything we needed including food essentials on arrival. Bonus to be able to park off road at the end of the garden. What puts us off staying again however was the bedding. Did not smell clean and fresh, pillows old, flat and stained, duvets the same. No smell of fresh laundry. We bought some pillows at Tesco on the first day as we didn't want to use those supplied."

"We stayed for 3 nights as we were visiting pur friend about 30 minures north. The area is in the heart of downtown Swansea city. Surrounding area is a bit noisy, bustling in the evening. The hotel interior hallways could use some updating, but could you could tell it was a very nice space in it's heyday. i appreciate that the hotel takes measures to conserve energy. Rooms use a keycard system to turn on electricity in the rooms, like in the EU. Hallways lights are operated by motion sensor - when I opened by room door the hallway was dark - which startled my wife - but when you step outside of your room into the hallway, it lights up completely. Our room was nice and clean, towels fresh, bed comfy - all we needed for our stay. We did have a lovely breakfast in the restaurant, which was delicious. A very nice stay."
