"The staff at the RIU were amazing. The entertainment was fun and they always got people to engage we loved playing beach volleyball, bingo, and morning yoga. Food was always fresh and so many options to choose from. We loved the oxtail and the steakhouse restaurant was really good. They have five pools that are gorgeous and they were never overcrowded. Beach was cleaned every morning and there was always a chair available. I really loved this property and felt it was a relaxing trip. If you are looking for night life bar scene this may not be the resort though. It was definitely relaxing and family friendly. "

"We loved our stay. We needed some relaxation and it was delivered. We loved sitting on our balcony overlooking the courtyard and the ocean. I wish it wasn’t so geared toward the cruises. Us resort goers would like to spend money on eating and drinking, but it’s difficult when so many places are closed after 3pm during the week once the cruise ships leave it seemed like a ghost town. "

The vibe, the scenery, the shuttle that takes you from one side of the the island to the other. Yes I said island because that’s how you feel when you’re here. It’s a beautiful paradise. Come relax unwind and forget about everyday life!!!!!"

"Riu Republica is always a good time the staff are friendly and helpful.. the rooms however could use a little renovation. Overall we felt safe walking around the resort."
