Nice room but my partner found it was a little bit dark. I love the turndown service and a thoughtful amenity in the room for my birthday. I wish I could see the whole building of the hotel as it was under construction or something.

We booked a luxury room with balcony with a view of the Rialto Bridge. However, the hotel only has two rooms like this - one room with green decor, which is featured heavily on the website and a second with Red decor.
For the first few nights of our stay we were in the 'red' room. The website description of this class of luxury room is 215ft2, with wardrobe and dressing table. The 'red' room is much smaller perhaps about 120ft2 and just wide enough for you to squeeze past the bed. There is no wardrobe or drawers to store clothes. Whilst the view from the balcony is magnificent, the hotel should not be classing both these rooms together. The red room is adequate with a great view, but certainly not luxury .... even for Venice.

Hidden gem.
"It was a last minute choice that turned out to be a wonderful decision. This is now our favorite hotel in Venice. The alley leading to it might seem sketchy at first but trust me, this hotel is worth it. Lovely HUGE lobby. Beautiful inner courtyard. A true hidden gem."

"Area, close to main attractions, and bus and train stations. Tea and coffee supplies not replenished, and no milk provided, breakfast wasn’t brilliant, was mediocre. Rooms nice and modern and clean. Would stay here again, overall very happy with our stay."
