NEW NEWS - Just added: a new ROOFTOP NORTH SECTION with a MEXICAN PALAPA UMBRELLA TELAVRRA TILED TABLE AND SMALL BAR with six polished concrete stools to augment the south rooftop section with its tanning lounges and bar. Hope you like it.
Drive down our private driveway, open the Olas gate and here sits a Mexican style hacienda beach house home with a circular fountain surrounded by green gardens. It is now that you have your first spectacular view of the pool and Caribbean blue sea.
Enter our home through heavy Mexican style wood doors, and you see a sliding glass roofless atrium and your first blue sea ocean view. Spectacular.
The main living area, with its full ocean views, has a spacious a combination living and dining room plus a large separate kitchen that has all the tools necessary for your master chef. The inside house atrium has local plantings, wall water fountain, round concrete sitting table and chairs. Look to the west for the concrete set of circular stairs that leads you to the rooftop sunning areas or nighttime star gazing areas.
As with many Mexican homes there is no central air conditioning. The inside has a huge, air-conditioned master suite has a private sitting room, large modern bath and of course a huge king size bed. How about waking up early and visiting a new colorful sunrise with coffee in bed or on the sitting room couch. A main house second bedroom is an air-conditioned suite with a queen-sized bed and newly renovated large bath. Surprise, the air conditioned third bedroom suite is like a private villa called a casita. Mexican style designed with detailed Talavera tile with a double bed, the suite is only six steps to the main house front door and a dozen to the pool.
Outside activities, could include a siesta in the Mexican hammock on the fifty-foot seaside porch, relaxing in one of the twin hammocks in the seaside garden, lunch at the porch table under the shade palapa, or perhaps a dip in the freshwater pool, or just do nothing at poolside on one of the lounges or the fourth hammock under the pool palapa. How about a nighttime swim at the romantically lighted pool with running waterfalls? For a change, maybe serve coffee and breakfast in the open-air atrium with flowing water from our three-wall fish of atrium pond. And then cap it all off with a scenic walk south down the Caribbean path in front of our home. WELCOME to Casa de las Olas.
