"Pictures don’t do justice to the view that awaits the renter of this apartment! The lake and the surrounding mountains are stunning. The apartment is nice and comfortable with a great balcony to enjoy the view. I would recommend getting there during the day since it can be a bit tricky at night. Pay attention to the fact that there are 3 flights of steps to climb, but if steps are not a problem, the view is totally worth it!!!"

"We had a great stay. Communication was excellent. They answered questions at all hours to help us get the most out of our travel. It was really a very beautiful place to stay. Only downside was the church bells that rang late and early and the rooster that woke you up each morning."

"The place was great. On point to the review online everything in place, clean, lots of free space for big families. Quiet and beautiful view. Amazing owners that helped us a lot in every way we needed. The only downside I think about is the mattress being quite old, older folks with back problems we had a hard time to sleep and wake up. Overall a great place. "

"The view is amazing. The apartment was spacious and had parking right out front. If you have time, take advantage of the main hotel lakeside area and indoor pool/spas. Check in is at the main hotel. Use that address for GPS. It would be nice if they provided and couple of bottles of water and coffee to make in the room. "

"We had a lovely time. Torno is an idyllic little village with great food. The villa has stunning views of the lake and provides all necessary comforts. You can walk up into the hills from the villa and reach Como and around the lake easily by boat or bus."

"Everything about the house is fantastic with great views across Lake Como. The hosts, Danielle and Marco were flgreat and greeted us upon arrival. We were very spoilt with a bottle of bubbly and delicious snacks. The house was a little further out of Varenna than we thought, but we love to walk and we think we left fitter than when we arrived. We would definitely recommend staying at El Lavandee."

"Excellent position at the top of the town. Cozy apartment and even though the heat wasn't allowed to be on yet for the season, it was certainly bearable on chilly October days/nights. Some people might dislike the church bells ringing in such close proximity but that never bothered us during our stay. "The hotel was situated in the heart of como around 10 minutes walk from the lake. The reception was extremely professional, quick and efficient. The room was very clean and the bathroom was modern and clean. The breakfast was top quality with professional staff doing the catering and making coffee. All the hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable "

Great solution but room was too HOT

"Great hotel, apart from the fact that the room was far too hot and despite asking the team, the heating could not be switched off. On the second night I therefore had to sleep with the window open. Otherwise, great breakfast and dinner, nice and helpful reception team, great atmosphere."
