"Stayed here for the first time and it was beautiful. Great food and drinks. Room was small but nice with a great view of the pool and lagoon. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception staff had great service and offered a great welcoming atmosphere. "

"Great place to stay!! Friendly staff, rooms were bigger than we thought they would be and super clean. We went on a family trip, 10 of us between adults and kids, felt safe at all times. After the lake we walked to the centro from the hotel at night,there was a night market with all types of food and goodies. Families, couples, groups of friends and some by people by themselves, we were all enjoying the great atmosphere, lots of fun!!!"

"It was not as nice in reality as in the pictures. It was OK though. Basically clean. The light in the bathroom did not work. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I slept very well there. The area was inconvenient, far away from the centre of town, so that you are dependent on taxis to get around. The taxi drivers are good though and charged a fair price. I never felt ripped off by them. While the area did not feel overtly unsafe, it was pretty grungey, not the best part of town. Were I to visit Bacalar again, I'd probably look for somewhere else to stay because of this hotel's isolated location. "

"Location was perfect - walking distance to everything (bus station, lagoon, centro) Place was spotless Claudia was always available on WhatsApp for any questions we had and even helped us get a transfer to Guatemala Thank you so much we were really happy with our time here "
