"had a 2 bedroom suite with kitchen and sitting area. size was perfect! wish there was tv in second bedroom and phone in living room. slept 8 but chairs/seating for 4 in living room and dining area. staff was attentive. Restaurant on site is more of a cafe with limited hours. close thought to Rideau Center 1/2 block and restaurants. Definately would stay again :)"

"The property was very nice, but the unit we had was directly over the entrance to the garage, and we could hear the overhead garage door opening each time. The windows looked right out onto the front entrance. Would've preferred blinds that came down from the top, to let in light but maintain some privacy for the bottom half of the windows which were to the floor. "

"Had a fantastic friends reunion weekend here and loved it. Jaro was a fantastic host and very responsive. Check in and check out were a breeze and the place was very comfy. Hot tub was a real bonus in the winter time, and the lake is gorgeous."

"Nice clean, fairly modern cottage with nice views out the back and a great hot tub and firepit outside.For the quality of the home, the following were lacking- shampoo and conditioner (typically provided in this kind of home)- hair dryer- essentials in the kitchen (oil, basic spices)- the fireplace could've been either a real gas fire with a flame or a real wood fireplace. Instead, it has a faux electric screen of fake flames with gas heater behind."

"I had an amazing stay at Casa Madera Chalet! This cozy log home, surrounded by stunning natural beauty, was the perfect retreat. Bright and welcoming interiors, along with a crackling fireplace, created such a warm, homey feel. Large windows offered breathtaking views. "Overall a older property that has been rennovated, very clean, spacious for 2 couples. Kitchen ok, could use a few more supplies. Has one washroom which is very modern, it is on the main floor and bedrooms are upstairs. Bedroons ok in size. one has a queen mattress while other has a double. Double mattress could use being replaced as one tended to roll to the middle. Overall a good value property within easy driving distance to downtown Ottawa."

"The house was dirty and filthy when we arrived. House messy and unkempt, not ready for the paying renters, unbelievable! The kitchen sink, plate rack and placemat have molds. All bedsheets and comforters were not laundered, smelly like were used and were not changed and washed. One of the comforters had bloody spots like from having period. Disgusting! Floors and rugs filthy, pillows have no pillow cases and no garbage can in the upper washroom. Pillows and beds are old and thin! We have to wash...

Very convenient and easy stay

"The suite was perfect for 3 adults and 3 kids under 7. Having Laundry in the room was a nice touch as it allowed us to dry off our winter gear after a fun filled day at winterlude. Its centrally located to the mall and to a metro grocery store which helped us with food and necessities. and having a full kitchen was very useful. We parked our minivan in the parking garage with the hotel and although an extra cost, was very useful in that it let you come and go as much as you needed with no additional cost or issues. Will def stay there again!"
